Mostly known for my Collage Art Work, I also love to make assemblage boxes.
Here is a window into my process.
I have begun the process for two new Nature themed Boxes. I have covered the boxes with antique papers and have collected oddities from nature and found objects from the past.
Now comes the fun part…selecting and arranging. What will make the cut and what goes back in the collection for a future project?

Some of the treasures: seed heads, egg, nest, vials , stones, fungus, magic slides , features, paper wasp nest….

what to choose?

Arranging

Stay tuned for the two finished pieces.
I am so curious to see what you end up making! Also, love the honeysuckle seed heads. I’ve never seen them before, apparently. Enjoy creating!
Ah, thank you…yes, those honeysuckle seed heads are delightfully twisty and wispy.
We would have fun visiting each others’ studios.
Claro que si! Maybe one day!
Magical boxes; holding delicious secrets. ,mist shrouded memories, waiting in anticipation. Oh to linger long and hold their ephemeral glory.
Thank you Virginia you always capture things so well.
I love seeing your process, Wilma.
Thank you Alys, that is great to hear.
