This series of portraits is so amazing, Wilma – theyβre fantastic! I love the details in this one!
Hi Simone Lovely to hear from you. Happy New Year! Yes, all this social isolation and duress has at least been good for studio time. Exploring new ideas and techniques. I am hoping to hold open studio tours and workshops again in the future. Wishing you well. β€
So amazing Wilma. The sultry / smokey vibe comes through. Love the colours!! β€
Thanks Kelly I am still working on the technique, it is tricky but quite fun to see it come together. ππ
I love this! What a beautiful rich portrait.
Thank you for the positive feedback, much appreciated .
Excellent! Nice air of mystery and fascinating to study the details. It would make a perfect cover for a detective novel.
Ah, thank you Robert…I love detective and mystery novels and they are a big influence in my work, now that you mention it!
Very nice! π
Thank you, lovely to hear π
One falls in love with Corazon. She is an enchantress with an enormous heart.
Thanks Virginia I hope you are keeping well.
Dear Wilma, My husband and I are keeping safe. He broke both ankles in a rock climbing accident. It has certainly kept us at home. It happened in September so he now is in the stage of slowly getting out and about. Stay safe Wilma, cheers Virginia
Both Ankles! Oh my goodness, that must be difficult for both of you! Sending healing thoughts. π
Thank you Wilma for your good thoughts.
